At least I think they are. And perhaps Small Skippers (Thymelicus sylvestris)? They hold their wings in an odd way at rest – unlike any other butterflies I can think of.

Really nice, Jessica! I especially like the last one, which you obviously did, too. In the second photograph, I enjoyed the skipper but also the little guy further down the stalk.
I wondered if anyone would notice the little guy. Some kind of leaf hopper plant bug I think, maybe a nymph. Looks a bit like a funny face on it.
I didn’t notice the funny face—till now. Please keep photographing insects. They’re so beautiful, and you are doing them justice.
